Terms of service.

Last updated 17 August 2026 · Version 1.3

These terms govern your use of Her Frontier — our membership, online community, events, and related services. By joining or paying for any tier, you agree to these terms.

Her Frontier is operated by Olly Kovalieva, based in Lisbon, Portugal. We can be reached at olly@herfrontier.ai.

01Who can join

Her Frontier is a space for women and non-binary people building with AI. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your country. Membership accounts are personal and non-transferable.

We reserve the right to decline or revoke access at our discretion, including when an account appears to be shared, resold, or misrepresented.

02What we sell

Current prices are listed on the pricing page and on each event page. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction. We may introduce new products or adjust pricing for future sign-ups; existing subscriptions at a given price continue until you cancel.

We sell three kinds of thing, and they work differently:

03Billing & cancellation

Recurring subscriptions (Monthly, Annual Supporter) renew automatically until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.

You can cancel yourself at any time from your member account, or email join@herfrontier.ai from the address on your account and we'll confirm within one business day.

One-time payments (Founding, event tickets, recordings) do not renew.

04Refunds

Memberships. Cancel whenever you like — access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for, and nothing is charged after that. We don't refund the current period once it has started. If you're a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you keep your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on your first payment; if you asked us to start straight away, we may keep a proportionate amount for the days you had access.

Event tickets. Non-refundable. An event ticket is admission to something happening on a specific date, which is excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal. If you can't make it live, you don't lose the content — every ticket includes the recordings, and you can pass your seat to someone else by emailing us before the event.

Recordings and downloads. Non-refundable once we've sent you the access link. You confirm at checkout that you want immediate access and that this ends your right of withdrawal for that purchase. Until you confirm it, the standard 14-day right applies.

Dinners. Dinner access is part of a Dinners membership, not a per-event purchase, so the membership rules above apply. A reserved seat you can't use should be cancelled from your cabinet so another woman can take it; missing a dinner doesn't extend your membership or create a refund. If we decline your application at verification, we cancel your membership and refund what you've paid for it.

Duplicate charges, a purchase you didn't make, or anything we've genuinely broken — write to olly@herfrontier.ai and we'll sort it out within 5 business days. None of the above limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your own country.

05Acceptable use

All members are expected to follow our Code of Conduct. In particular:

Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or removal without refund.

06Your content, our content

You retain ownership of what you share in the community. By posting, you grant Her Frontier a non-exclusive license to display your content within the community and to anonymously quote it in marketing unless you opt out.

Her Frontier's original materials — workshops, recordings, templates, written content — are ours. You can use them for your personal practice but not resell, republish, or use them to train AI models without written permission.

07Availability & changes

We aim for reliable access but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Stripe, video hosting, chat platform), or force-majeure events may cause disruption.

We may modify programming, benefits, or features over time. Material changes to tier benefits will be announced in advance.

08Disclaimers & liability

Her Frontier provides community, education, and connection — not professional advice. Content shared in workshops, chats, or events should not be treated as legal, financial, medical, or career advice specific to your situation.

Dinners. Her Frontier Dinners is a curation and matchmaking service: we review applications, compose the table, and arrange the reservation. The dinner itself is a private social gathering of independent adults at an independent venue. We don't control — and, to the extent permitted by law, accept no liability for — what happens at or after a dinner: the conversations, the connections that do or don't form, other guests' behaviour, or the venue's food, service, and premises, which remain the restaurant's responsibility. Each guest is responsible for her own conduct, choices, and belongings. Our Code of Conduct applies at the table, and we act on reports — if anything at a dinner made you feel unsafe, tell us at olly@herfrontier.ai.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid in the previous 12 months.

09Termination

You can close your account at any time by cancelling your subscription or emailing us. We may close accounts for violations of these terms or the Code of Conduct.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, except where local consumer protection law gives you the right to your home jurisdiction.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email and posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

Questions? Email olly@herfrontier.ai. These terms were written in plain language on purpose — if something's unclear, tell us.
